Whole30: Day 5

Today was pretty much a repeat of the past few days.

For breakfast I ate another chia seed pudding, hard boiled eggs, and an avocado. I know..not exciting at all.

Lunch was leftover chicken from last night with more raw veggies and ranch with an apple.

For dinner I threw all the extra broccoli and cauliflower that I had chopped for the week on a pan with coconut oil and salt and roasted it until delicious! I cut all the meat off of the leftover drumsticks and reheated it on the stove with the sauce from the bowl. Since the kids (and hubs) didn't eat it last night they were all happy!

Dinner on Thursdays is at 4 because of the littlest gymnastics schedule so I am usually hungry again later in the evening and Thursdays happen to be grocery store night so tonight I got some kombucha and a Justin's almond butter (so hard not to get my favorite, the maple flavor) packet for an evening snack. I am making a valiant effort to not eat 2-3 hours before bedtime but tonight I just couldn't do it!! I am also making sure to get as close to 8 hours of sleep every night as possible and to drink lots of water.

I already have my dinner cooking in the crockpot for tomorrow night and can't wait to see how it turns out in the morning (I like to cook over night and let it rest all day before we eat it)
